We are proud to announce that world-class festival organizer Java Festival Production has been appointed by the Ministry of Trade to send musical envoys to perform at the Indonesia Pavilion, Shanghai World Expo 2010. Themed "BioDiver City", Indonesia Pavilion was dubbed as one of the recommended visits by lonelyplanet.com. One of the highlights offered at the beautifully-designed Pavilion is the music exhibition, which as mentioned before, provided by Java Festival Production. The first to leave for Shanghai was blues band, Gugun Blues Shelter, comprising of Gugun, Bowie and Jono. Gugun Blues Shelter, considered to be one of Indonesia' premier blues bands, represented a breakthrough in Indonesia's music scene. Admirably, when the band performed, without a doubt, they shook the crowds visiting Indonesia Pavilion, inviting awe and admiration of the people of Shanghai World Expo. In addition, due to their amazing music and skills, they were also invited to perform at the Romanian Pavilion and jam with the orchestra. Great job Gugun Blues Shelter! You did us proud.
